Welcome to our website

The Police Authority is the bridge between local communities across North Wales and the Police. We work closely in partnership with North Wales Police to make sure that the people who live here are policed in the way that they want – and the way that they deserve. Together, we have ensured that North Wales Police is one of the best performing forces in the UK. A big part of our role is to be a critical friend in every single aspect of policing, from setting the budget, through planning policing priorities and diversity matters and upholding professional standards.

Our aim is to work with our local communities and partners to secure the highest quality policing service, in order to create a better, safer North Wales.
