Ensure that people have trust and confidence in North Wales Police
We remain convinced that the confidence of our communities in our ability to deal effectively with the crime and anti-social behaviour that matter to them is vital to our success.
During 2010/2011 we implemented our strategy to increase public trust and confidence and we aim to continue to build on this during 2011/2012.
Neighbourhood policing continues to be at the very heart of our strategy and we are committed to working with all our communities to ensure we understand their needs and address them appropriately.
To achieve this we will:
- Develop and maintain our trust and confidence strategy
- Develop and implement our new Welsh language scheme
- Develop and Implement a Single Equality Plan, incorporating our diversity strategy and action to combat Hate Crime
- Implement our marketing and communication strategy
- Monitor our performance
- Survey our communities
- Implement restorative justice procedures
- Collaborate with other Welsh forces and agencies to improve the administration of criminal justice
