Reduce and resolve crime and antisocial behaviour that impacts on our communities
We understand the consequences that crime and anti social behaviour has on our communities, that’s why our aim is to reduce the incidence of both.
Following a review in 2010/2011 we will be working more effectively with our partners. Together, we can have a real impact in this area by jointly solving local problems and managing those offenders who cause the greatest problems for our communities. This approach includes ensuring that those who commit the most serious crimes are brought to justice.
To achieve this we will:
- Reduce repeat victimisation and repeat offending
- Improve how we work in partnership with other organisations in North Wales
- Implement an integrated offender management scheme
- Use intelligence more effectively to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour
- Use intelligence more effectively to reduce repeat victimisation
- Streamline our processes to manage anti social behaviour
- Develop our mobile data capability to support the investigation of crime and anti social behaviour
- Use geographically-focussed policing techniques to reduce anti social behaviour
- Review future CCTV requirements
