Ms Webb was brought up in Corwen, Denbighshire and moved back to the area in 1990 when she and her husband took over the family farm. She has two young children and is treasurer to the PTFA and Governor of the local primary school. She trained in Ecology and Tropical Pest Management, and worked for some time in the scientific civil service for the Ministry of Agriculture and the Overseas Development Administration. This involved work both in the UK as well as overseas in South America and Africa. She set up her own company in 1996 and has since worked as a consultant in agricultural development and pest management research.
Ms Webb joined the Authority as an Independent Member in May 2002 and she is the Chair of the Consultation Panel. She is also one of the Authority's two lead members on Diversity.
