Freedom of Information Act 2000
You have a right to be informed whether the Police Authority holds information on any matter the subject of your request and, if it does, to have the information communicated to you.
Subject to certain exemptions set out within the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Authority, as a general rule, should comply with your request within twenty working days.
The Authority has a publication scheme. The publication scheme sets out the kinds of information the Authority publishes, the format in which it is available, whether there is a charge for the information, and how to contact us. If you are seeking information you are invited to consider the scheme to see if it can be used to provide the information you are looking for.
Requests for information not held within the scheme should be directed to:
Mr Tal Michael
Chief Executive
Glan-y-Don
Colwyn Bay
LL29 8AW
Your request should be in writing and state clearly what information is required. If you need assistance or advice about how to make a request, please contact the Police Authority office, telephone number 01492 805486.
The Authority hopes that it deals with requests for information in an appropriate manner. However, should you have any cause for complaint you should write to the Chief Executive.
