Gwynedd Community Safety Event
On the first of October the Police Authority helped Gwynedd Community Safety Partnership promote safety in the County.
The multi agency event, organised by the Community Safety Partnership celebrated National Older People's Day, by holding the Gwynedd Older People's Council annual conference, in the morning, giving members of the public the opportunity to have a question and answer session with their community policing team and the Police Authority.
The afternoon was dedicated to raising awareness of the work done by the partnership, and the members including the Council, the police, police authority, the local criminal justice board, the substance misuse action team, the domestic abuse forum, the fire and rescue service and the red cross. The afternoon was attended by members of the public and local schools. While during the early evening the Police Authority held the police Authority and Community Forum meeting.
