Mr Wynne was born and educated in Denbigh and is married with one daughter.  He has recently become a 'Taid'

He is a graduate of the University of Liverpool and a retired Technical Manager at British Steel with expertise in technology of coated steel. He is a Member of the Institute of Metals, Chartered Engineer and has a post-graduate diploma in Management Studies. Until recently Mr Wynne sat as a Magistrate sitting on the Flintshire Bench. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Governing Board of St Brigid School in Denbigh.

Mr Wynne’s outside interests include being a Member of Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir, gardening, walking,and reading political biographiesg.

Mr Wynne has been a Magistrate Member of the Authority since February 2001 and is currently an Independent Member. He is the Chair of the Professional Standards Committee and is one of the Authority’s representative on PAW as well as representing the Authority on a number of Police Boards and Panels.
