Enid Rowlands has a background in training, organisational and economic development within England and Wales, and is currently a Director of a North Wales Management Consultancy Company. She is a UK Board Member of Consumer Focus, a Lay Member of the General Medical Council and a Member of the Ministerial Advisory Board of NHS Wales. She is also National Trustee for Wales of the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, and has chaired the National Council for Education and Training in Wales, and the North Wales Health Authority.

Enid reprepsent the Authority on the Emergency Services Local Programme Board.

Her former posts include Chief Executive of the North West Wales Training and Enterprise Council and Managing Director of the Welsh Development Agency in North Wales.

She served for 8 years as a member of the S4C Television Authority, and was previously on the Broadcasting Council for Wales, and BT’s Advisory Group for Wales.

Other charitable work has included Board Membership of the Prince’s Trust Council for Wales. 

Married with one son, Enid lives in Glan Conwy.
