Members - Independent Members

Born, raised and educated in Wrexham, he is a graduate of Aberystwyth University and the College of Law. He is a practising Solicitor with a Wrexham based legal firm and also a Higher Court Advocate with many years experience.

He is an Independent Member with Wrexham County Borough Council serving on the Coedpoeth ward.  A former Chair of the Licensing Committee, he is a member of the Corporate Governance and Policy Scrutiny Committee, Environmental Licensing Committee and Crime and Disorder Scrutiny Committee. In addition to various other working groups within the Council, he has been a member of Coedpoeth Community Council for 10 years.

Appointed to the Police Authority in May 2011, he currently serves on the Audit and Performance Review Committees. He also sits on the Local Policing Member Review Group.

Mark is married with three children. His other interests include sport, particularly Rugby, Football and Squash. He is also the Chair of the Coedpoeth Development Committee and a former member of the North Wales Fire Authority.
