National Eisteddfod, Bala

North Wales Police Authority and North Wales Police launched the Balance your Bobbies concept at the National Eisteddfod in Bala on August 7th 2009. The above pictures show the physical version of Balance your Bobbies, and Deputy Chief Constable Clive Wolfendale, Cllr Ian Roberts (the Chairman of the Police Authority) and others, launching the concept.

Please see below the results of Balance your Bobbies at the event. The results are forwarded to the local District Inspectors who then consider the results when deciding what matters should be concentrated on in their local area and when allocating resources to neighbourhood issues:-

Speeding Drivers: 652 votes
Alcohol related ASB: 591 votes
Drugs: 538 votes
Criminal Damage: 472 votes 
Dog Fouling: 453 votes
