Treasurer (Part Time) to North Wales Police Authority since October 1997.

Born and brought up in Llandudno. Educated at John Bright Grammar School 1958 to 1963. After a variety of employment, he joined Llandudno UDC in 1969 qualifying as a Certified Accountant in 1971.

Following a period with Denbigh Non County Borough and further qualification as a Municipal Accountant was appointed Treasurer of Glyndwr District Council in 1973 a position held until appointment to Denbighshire County Council in 1995 initially as Head of Finance and subsequently Director of Finance.

Nigel lives in Denbigh with his wife and is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wales and interested in the outdoors, keep fit and the arts.
