Partnership Working

The Home Secretary has set the strategic priorities for 2009-10 and has emphasised the need for the police service to work collaboratively with local partners to meet local objectives.

In order to achieve improvements North Wales Police and North Wales Police Authority must undertake a programme of effective collaboration and co-ordination amongst relevant partners, and to make communities safer we must work closely with our partners in order to align priorities and work towards national priorities at the same time as meeting local needs.

We must also work with our partners to understand the full breadth of crime and community safety issues in North Wales and together with our partners be able to demonstrate effective action to address them.
