Over the next few years we will have less money to spend on our policing service. That’s why we have a comprehensive plan to re-organise, become more efficient and be better value for money.
Our officers and staff are our main assets and we aim to provide them with the tools, training, support and leadership to enable them to provide the best service they can.
To achieve this we will:
- Ensure that our training and development programmes meet the needs of our staff and communities
- Develop our employees’ Welsh language skills
- Manage talent through coaching and mentoring
- Survey our staff to ensure there is a good understanding of our goals and values and that we are achieving good leadership
- Manage risk more effectively
- Review our work to make the workforce more representative of our communities
- Manage our change projects
- Review sustainability plans
- Review our estate
- Collaborate to deliver shared services
